Performance and Reliability KPIs

The module closes with a practical predictive maintenance readiness assessment: the data quality, asset criticality profile, and organisational capability a facilities team needs in place before investing in a predictive maintenance programme.
Budget and Contractor Controls
Maintenance strategy only survives if it is funded and delivered reliably, whether by an in-house team or an outsourced service provider. This module builds practical maintenance budgeting skills, structuring a budget that reflects planned PPM activity, anticipated reactive work, and a reasonable contingency rather than a simple percentage-of-asset-value estimate. Participants design service-provider KPI frameworks appropriate for GCC outsourced FM contracts, covering response time, first-time-fix rate, and compliance performance. The module covers Service Level Agreement (SLA) structuring that protects facility performance while remaining commercially realistic for contractors, and closes with structured performance review technique: running contract review meetings that hold service providers accountable using data rather than anecdote.
Capstone Maintenance Plan
The programme closes with an applied capstone: participants create a complete maintenance and KPI plan for a realistic sample facility asset portfolio, drawing on every skill built across the previous seven modules. Working from a portfolio scenario spanning multiple asset types and criticality levels, participants complete a criticality analysis, select appropriate maintenance strategies per asset category, build supporting PPM and resourcing plans, and define the reliability and service-level KPIs that will track performance. Facilitator and peer feedback focuses on whether the finished plan reflects a genuinely risk-based allocation of maintenance resources — not simply applying the same maintenance intensity to every asset regardless of criticality.
